My novel about the Cherokees should appear as an e-book on my website within the next few days or weeks...as soon as I can get it up and going. If you are interested in just what happened to not only the Cherokees but all of the civilized tribes of Indians in the Southeast, you will be interested in this book. It is a love story, but it is based on actual history of the 1830s, when the Cherokees were removed out to Oklahoma. It will probably make you cry, as I cried when I wrote it. I did research almost every day for three years in the writing of this book, and I used Daniel Buttrick's journal as the backbone of the novel. He was a missionary who accompanied the Cherokees on Richard Taylor's route during the 1838 removal of the Cherokees. Thank you for your interest.
